I was born in San Jose, California in 1953, and lived there until going away to college. I graduated from California State University at Chico in 1976, and spent the next 10 years playing professional basketball in Australia. In 1986 I started my career in financial services with Equitable Life and in 2000 I became an independent advisor with Centaurus Financial Inc. In my practice I use a lot of alternative investment strategies as well as some annuities and managed money. My primary focus is retirement planning, utilizing strategies designed to mitigate risks as much as possible while still providing the rates of return my clients need to meet their investment goals.
Other activities outside of work include daily workouts, golf, and playing the guitar.
